I am a registered Graduate Stress Consultant and an approved Reiki Master/Teacher with Reiki Evolution and the British School of Yoga.  I teach Usui Shiki Ryoho (Usui System of Natural Healing).  I mainly work in Sheffield at 'Sheffield Clinical Hypnosis' in Woodseats and the newly opened 'Lifestyle Centre' in Beighton,  You can read more about these venues on the links page.   I originally trained in the Terra-Mai Seichem system. This had a profound life changing effect on me, in that I was suddenly able to cope with situations that would normally cause me to panic. I remember one such situation, expecting to feel my throat tightening and stomach churning - but it didn't happen! It seemed totally logical that the next natural step was to learn how I could source the energies for myself and my family. Increasing interest led me to become a practitioner. After many years of being a practitioner, I felt the time was right to share the knowledge passed onto me by becoming a teacher of the system. I sought and found an excellent teacher who taught me the system that was used by the originator, Mikao Usui. 

A majority of people that I see are suffering with stress, anxiety or depression.  I therefore undertook my course of study as a Stress Consultant in order to better understand the causes and symptoms of what has become one of the most prevelent dis-eases of our age. 

In my experience treatments are particularly beneficial for people with emotional problems and are an effective way to prepare for forthcoming stressful situations i.e. exams or interviews. However, physical ailments bring their own emotional issues and stress. By working to reduce those stress levels, a person is better able to cope with the physical problems.

After 10 years experience the benefits to myself and to those I have treated and trained never cease to amaze me.
